According to KeyEast Entertainment, Woo Do Hwan has been confirmed joining the upcomingnew drama ‘The King: The Eternal Emperor’ by Kim Eun Sook, with Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun, who have been previously confirmed as the leads in the new drama.
In ‘The King: The Eternal Emperor’, Woo Do Hwan will be playing two characters as the story takes place in two parallel worlds. In the world of Korean Empire, Woo Do Hwan plays the role of Jo Young who serves as the bodyguard to the Korean emperor, Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho). In the world of Republic of Korea, Woo Do Hwan plays the role of Jo Eun Seop who is an ordinary social service worker.
Meanwhile, ‘The King: Eternal Emperor’ is said to be released on the first half of 2020.
