On Dec 17, Song Joong Ki's agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed that 'Song Joong Ki's contract expires at the end of December'.

Following the news of contract expiration, Korea media reported that KakaoM has recruited the actor. However, a representative from the agency denied the news and stated that the claims are not true.
