How “Descendants of the Sun” would be concluded? five expected ends > TV-MOVIES

KBS2’s soap opera “Descendants of the Sun” has only 2 episodes. Spotlights are being focused on how the drama will end. 

There are five possible endings for “Descendants of the Sun” based on the viewer bulletin board and comments. 

1. Happy ending

It is the perfect ending most viewers are wishing for. In the conclusion, both Song-song and Goo-won couples are shown continuing their relationships.  

In addition, this ideal ending would includ Seo Dae-yeong(Jin-Goo) continuing to work as a soldier with the permission of General Yoon (who is a father of Dae-yeong’s girl friend) and who is currently against their relationship because of Dae-yeong’s rank.

2. Sad ending

Some viewers expect sad ending. This expectation is based on the foreshadowing in previous episodes and the teaser clip of episode 15.

Specifically, in the teaser of episode 15, there is a 'suspicious' scene which shows Kang Mo-yeon and a junior staff member belonging to Shi-jin talking.

On the other hand, Seo Dae-yeong and Yoon Myeong-joo have already had broken up 2 times. Watchers will be wondering how the relationship between Dae-yeong and Myeong-joo will end, with the words, "a couple will be broken up again, even though they reunited after first break up."

3. The ending in Private Shi jin’s dream

In this scenario, the entire drama is revealed to have been a dream.

When Private Yoo was being treated for an injury he received while on duty, he met Mo-yeon. While being treated, he fell asleep and dreamt the entire story under the influence of his head injury and his glimpse of Mo-yeon.

To be realistic, this might be an impossible story, but it makes viewers laugh. 

4. Seo Dae-yeong and Yoon Myeong-joo are unveiled as being siblings.

There is possibility that actually Dae-yeong and Myeong-joo are acturally sibling.

Because of that, General Yoon has been against their relationship. If this turns out to be the ending, then after finding out they are brother and sister, the two characters will decide to maintain their relationship as friendly siblings.

It is highly unrealistic story, but this is normal for soap operas, which tend to have highly contrived plots.

5. Opened ending

In this scenario, Yoo Shi-jin♥Kang Mo-yeon, and Seo Dae-yeong♥Yoon Myeong-Joo will not be linked anymore. 

Instead, the official couple in the hospital, Dr. Song (Lee Seung-Joon) and Nurse Ha (Seo Jeong-yeon) will get married. A love story between them is also supported by many fans.

Episode 15 will be broadcast on April 13 10:00 p.m. KST then, this soap opera will be concluded on April 14.
