Song Joong-ki said a final goodbye with the conclusion of “Descendants of the Sun” > TV-MOVIES

KBS2’s soap opera “Descendants of the Sun” has reached its end with episode 16 on April 14.

Following the soap opera finale, Song Joong-ki left a final goodbye message to the fans.

Here are Song Joong-ki’s thoughts:

“Hi, it’s Song Joong-ki. I really appreciated that you loved “Descendants of the Sun” so much.

This soap opera was a very meaningful project for me. I was able to make a fascinating comeback after finishing my enlistment. Also I worked with good cameramen, actors, and actresses during the shooting for this 100% pre-recorded soap opera.

At the same time, I was very concerned about how I could portray Yoo Shi-jin whose character loved pranks, yet was sedate and responsible.

On the other hand, I felt sad that “Descendants of the Sun” was coming to an end.

Once again, I really thank all of you who loved this soap opera, and who participated in the filming as staff, actors, and actresses.”

Meanwhile, the final episode was ended happily as Yoo Shi-jin(Song Joong-ki) who showed a real manly attitude as a soldier, and the Song-Song couple reunited again with sweet romance.

Throughout the soap opera, Song Joong-ki created a syndrome called “Joong-ki generation” which heated up the hearts of female fans all over the Asia.
