Korea first Sci-Fic blockbuster 'Space Sweepers' starring Song Joong Ki. Kim Tae Ri and more, tops the Netflix's worldwide streaming rankings.

The background of 'Space Sweepers' is set in the year of 2092. A crew of a junk collector spaceship called The Victory discovered a humanoid robot Dorothy, which is known to be a weapon used to cause mass destruction, and therefore get involved into dangerous situation.

Because of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, the film simultaneously premiered in 190 countries via Netflix on Feb 5. According to FlixPatrol, 'Space Sweepers' ranked 1st in the ranking of for the most popular movies on Netflix in the world. The film also tops the Netflix's Top 10 contents in 16 different countries including Belgium, Philippines and more other than Korea.  ​
