MBC’s new soap opera “Lucky Romance” has a golden line-up. As of now Hwang Jung-eum and Ryu Joon-yeol are confirmed to play the leads.
At this time, Ok Taec-yeon and Lee Chung-ah are considering starring as two characters related to each of the female and male leads.
‘Lucky Romance” is based on a webtoon featuring a romantic comedy with a female lead named Shim Bo-nui who totally believes in superstitions and a male lead named Je Su-ho who trusts only formulas for studying engineering technology.
Hwang Jung-eum guarantees that a soap opera will be popular. Especially, she is well-known for making viewers interested in and touched by her performances. In 2015, by playing the female leads MBC’s “Kill me, Heal me” and “She was Pretty”, she caused viewers to develop a crush on these soap operas .
Furthermore, in 2015, Ryu Joon-yeol heated up the viewers by playing a male lead in tvN’s soap opera “Reply 1988”. He is also a guaranteed success factor based on his performances.
Meanwhile, Lee Chung-ah is considering the role of Han Seol-hee who is the first love of Je su-ho, but not close with him anymore. Also Ok Taek-yeon is considering the role of Choi Geon-wook who has a crush on Shim Bo-nui so he is a rival of Je Su-ho.

It is highly anticipated that the soap opera will sketch the storyline with a golden line up because original webtoon is very popular.
“Lucky Romance” will be broadcast after currently tuning soap opera “Good-bye Mr.Black” ends this May.
