金贤重在Oricon周专辑排行榜中位居前十。 

金贤重于7月1日发行了新专辑‘The Best of Kim Hyun Joong'，发行1周后专辑销量高达12，428张，在Oricon专辑销量排行榜中排名第6位。‘The Best of Kim Hyun Joong'由29首歌曲组成，包括‘Heat','Hot Sun','Kiss Kiss',和‘Let's Party'。

最近，金贤重正在服兵役，他将于2017年2月11日完成兵役。
