[KCON 2018 USA] First artist announced for KCON 2018 NY - it's Wanna One! > K-POP

The ride has officially begun in ​KCON​ season as the artist announcements are now underway for ​KCON 2018 NY!

​Entering its 7th year since inception, ​KCON USA​ has been the hallmark for all things KPOP related in the US. As we mentioned in a recent article, the dates are as follow:

KCON 2018 NY​ 

​Location​: Prudential Center, Newark, NJ 

​Dates:​ June 23-24, 2018 

​KCON 2018 LA​ 

​Location: ​Staples Center/LA Convention Center, Los Angeles, CA 

​Dates​:​ August 10-12, 2018  

And now, without further ado, here are the first artists headed towards KCON 18 NY in June!

​Wanna One​ is the first artist to be unveiled for KCON 18 NY, as many fans suspected. Formed together by ​Produce 101​, this 11-member boygroup has been breaking records left and right. They recently returned with ​"​Boomerang​", the title track from mini-album "​0+1=1 (I Promise You)​". The group made their debut on US soil last year with ​KCON 17 LA​ and will return later to the States this year with a World Tour! 

Fans were given three hints via Twitter to guess who the artist was and looks like the hints weren't hard to figure out as fans guessed correctly. They are below - could you have figured out?
