On November 16, 2017, one of the local promoter: All Access Production officially announced on their Facebook page that the 32nd Golden Disc Awards will be held in the Philippines. It will happen in 2 days dated January 10 (Wednesday) and January 11 (Thursday), Year 2018 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
This will surely be the grandest K-Pop event taking place in Philippines so far, with its local promoter hinting everyone that it could possibly be consisting of 24 Artists on the line up and great Korean actors as the host of the said awards night.
This has been circulating 3 months ago where a K-pop insider (credit to kpopchannel.tv) got to interview All Access Production and now its finally happening! Check out below about the said interview:
10) Do you have an upcoming K-pop event this year? Can you give us a hint about it?
Yes, we will have a festival this Oct 28 featuring two artists from S.M. Entertainment: Maybe one girl group and a boy band, plus guests. We also have the biggest Kpop event in PH history happening on January 2018.
