'Descendants of the Sun' Song-Song couple are getting hitched! > K-POP

An on-screen couple began an off-screen romance and has ended in happy news as ​Song Joong Ki​ and ​Song Hye Kyo​ have announced they will be wed in October of this year!

The two played a Navy SEAL and a doctor in the hit drama '​Descendants of the Sun​' that swept much of Korea off its feet last year. While it remains unknown how long the two have been dating for, both of the actors' agencies confirmed the news while stressing that as the marriage is a happy news, it still is private and hope that the two celebrities are allowed peace of mind and privacy with their families. The agencies wish that fans not only relay their congratulations but give the two space.
