NU'EST slated to make a return to the music scene as 4 later this year > K-POP

Following the completion of ​Produce 101 Season 2​, which saw ​NU'EST​'s ​Minhyun​ get voted into group ​WANNA ONE​, agency ​Pledis Entertainment​ assuaged fans' worries and fears by assuring them that NU'EST would make a return as 4 sometime later this year.

Four of the members (​JR​/​Jonghyun​, ​​Baekho​/​Dongho​, Minhyun, and ​Ren​/​Minki​) competed on the show to make one of the coveted 11 spots of the group as a second chance for the group to continue on. The 4 members placed in the Top 20, proving that their skills and personalities won over fans and allowed the Korean public to notice them once more. With their title track '​Hello​' from 3rd mini-album trending on music charts such as ​Melon​, ​Instiz​, and others, and fans clamoring for NU'EST to quickly make a comeback while the public still had interest and sympathy over the shocking rankings, Pledis finally announced that the group would have activities.

The agency stressed that thanks to fans' love and the public's support, Minhyun was able to join WANNA ONE and would work hard to repay back all the love showered upon him. Meanwhile, JR, Baekho, and Ren would be taking well-deserved breaks to rest up and recover from a strenuous three months. 

Despite the hard times the group experienced these past five years, perhaps there is a glimmer of hope and that their hard work will be rewarded.
