BtoB's Hyunsik and Uniq's Seung-youn team up for the 8th theme <Change> for the JTBC program Sing For You.
Sing For You is a music program which talks about situations that people--whether male, female, old or young--may face in their lifetimes and produces songs that offer them comfort, courage and hope. Hyunsik and Seung-youn created the track Eating Alone to express that "sometimes you just need to be alone to be happy."
In the beginning of the song, there's a short dialogue:
Man: I'm starved. Excuse me?
Restaurant clerk: Yes. You came alone?
Man: Samgyeopsal (pork belly meat) for one and one soybean paste stew, please.
Restaurant clerk: You can't order Samgyeopsal for one.
Man: Why not?
Restaurant clerk: You just can't.
As those of you who are familiar with Korean culture know, it is often difficult to eat alone in Korea, especially if you are in a Korean BBQ shop as there is usually a minimum order for two people.
