Onew is officially discharged from the the military today.

According to Korea media, Onew is discharged today after his final vacation since July 8. According to the military protocol on COVID-19, Onew will not return to the base and no separate discharge event will be held.

Onew enlisted in the military as an active duty soldier on Dec 10, 2018. The singer participated in several musicals including 'Shinheung Military Academy' and 'Return: The Promise of the Day'.​
