On May 13th, T-ara held their T-ARA 2017 Live in Taipei concert at the National Taiwan University Sports Center, attended by over 2600 fans.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Boram and Soyeon would not be renewing their contracts with MBK Entertainment, which officially ended on May 15th. As a result, they will not participate in the upcoming concerts in Macau on the 20th and Japan on the 24th. The Taipei concert turned out to be the group's last performance as six members.
T-ara kicked off the show with the Chinese version of Tiamo, then performed many of their hit tracks like Bopeep Bopeep, Roly-Poly and Day by Day, which stirred up the crowd. For special fan service, Soyeon sang Taiwanese singer Jay Chou's Silence, and Jiyeon and Hyomin performed a girl's version of Trouble Maker.
During the performance, fans held up banners saying "We've been waiting for you for a long time." T-ara responded, "We've waited a long time as well." Hyomin was moved to tears and thanked fans for supporting them. Boram added, "I'm happy to be here with you all. Thank you so much. I will never forget this moment."
When it was time for the last song Bye Bye, fans shouted "T-ara" for nearly a minute's time, causing the members to cry. The atmosphere was sad, but the six members held hands to thank the crowd one last time as a group.
T-ara returned to Korea on May 14th and the group minus Boram and Soyeon will continue on to Macau and Japan for the remaining concerts.
