KNK held their very first 2017 Live & Meet in Taiwan last night (April 22nd). Tinkerbells from all over Taiwan showed up at ATT4Fun in Taipei's central shopping district to show their support. The event kicked off with several of their hits such as Gone, Back Again, Tonight and Goodbye. The group then sat down to have some personal times with fans.
Members Youjin, Seungjun, Inseong, Jihun, and Heeju each took turns to greet their fans. They were then prompted by the emcee to say "Beautiful wives, your husbands are here" in Taiwanese, which won laughs and praises from the crowd. As they're sitting onstage, the chairs seemed to have a mind of their own and turned to the sides, so on and off you would see members straightening the seats for the person next to them. From the small gestures you can see that the group is really close and looks out for one another.
Heejun is straightening out Jihun's chair, not trying to squeeze his thigh which is what it looks like in this photo. XDDDD
Inseong: What's up?
The group then shared past photos with the fans. This particular photo was when Inseong visited a fishing cafe in Korea. Depending on the size of the fish you catch in the given time slot you can win prizes. The emcee then said in Taiwan we have shrimp fishing cafes instead and how about holding the next fan meeting there? The members were all excited and said that would be a great idea.
Seungjun not only got to demonstrate his dancing skills, but also his talent at impersonating.
The next round was a set of tests that KNK had to conquer. A series of random songs were played and the group had to immediately perform the choreography. The first song was EXO's Growl, followed by Twice's TT and Cheer Up, Beast's Beautiful Night, and April's Tinker Bell. The dancer of the group Seungjun knew most of the steps and had a great time showing off his talent. And what is a fan meeting without 2X dance? KNK said that they have done this many times and were confident they can do it here. In the end, the members rated themselves by saying "ma ma hu hu," which is Chinese for "so-so". Then it was confession time where each members said something special for their Tinkerbells.
After the fan interaction time, it was back to performance time. As a special performance for Taiwanese fans, they performed JJ Lin's Twilight to show off their Mandarin skills. Then they followed with their own hits like Beauty, Propose and Angel Heart.
For the encore, the group performed Day N Night, to the fans' delight. A total of 13 songs in the two hour plus event, which is more than your average fan meeting. I would say that the fans definitely got a good deal for their money. But if you think this was the end, think again. As fan service, Tinkerbells got to shake hands with each of the members. 100 lucky fans also got their signed posters and another 50 fans their signed Polaroids. KNK revealed during the interview time that they will be making a comeback soon. Stay tuned!
