'Cliffhanger' recorded a good viewer rating with first two episodes > K-POP

tvN drama 'Cliffhanger' starring Jun Ji Hyun and Joo Ji Hoon kicked off a good start. 

The drama aired its first episode on Oct 23. According to Nielson Korea, the 1st episode and 2nd recorded an average rating of 9.1% and 10.7% respectively. The drama ranked 1st among all programs during the same time slot and ranked 2nd of the highest viewer rating of Saturdays-Sundays drama in history. 

'Cliffhanger' is written by Kim Eun Hee who is well known for dramas like 'Three Days', 'Signal', and directed by Lee Eung Book who is well known for 'Descendants of the Sun', Goblin and 'Mr. Sunshine'. Jun Ji Hyun plays the role of Seo Yi Kang, the top ranger who knows everything about navigating Mount Jiri National Park. Joo Ji Hoon plays the character of Kang Hyun Jo, a military academy graduate with a deep secret who joins as a new ranger and becomes Seo Yi Kang’s partner to save life.

The drama is now air on Saturdays and Sundays 9PM(KST) on tvN.​ ​ ​
