TOPIK (Korean-language test) to add speaking test next year > K-POP

New speaking test will be added to the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) according to the Ministry of Education.

TOPIK aims to access individual proficiency in Korean and allow test-takers to use the test results for college admissions, job searches and visa applications.

TOPIK originally consists of only reading, listening and writing section. The introduction of speaking section aims to evaluate the overall communication skills in Korean.
