EXO's Kai to appear in Japanese drama > K-POP

S.M.Entertainment announced today (March 1st) that EXO member Kai will join the cast of the Japanese drama Spring Has Come (tentative translation).

The drama is based on the same-titled novel written by Kuniko Mukoda.  In the modern family drama, Kai will play the role of a Korean photographer.  It is the first time the broadcasting channel WOWOW has cast a foreign actor in its dramas, so it has attracted great media attention.

Kai revealed, "I feel like it will be a meaningful and special experience. I'm sure there will be some unfamiliarities, but I will do my best to make a great drama."

In addition to Spring Has Come, Kai is currently filming the KBS drama Andante.  It is his first leading role in a full-scale drama since the 2016 web drama Choco Bank.  His acting career seems to be progressing smoothly, so be on the lookout for more!
