ASTRO ADDED TO KCON MEXICO AS TICKET ON-SALE DATE ANNOUNCED - FEBRUARY 7
First KCON in Latin America to take place in Mexico City, March 17-18, 2017
Los Angeles – January 19, 2017 –The world’s largest Korean culture and K-pop music festival, today announced that tickets for KCON Mexico will go on-sale February 7. Also revealed were Korean boy band Astro who will join MonstaX as performers at the first KCON in Latin America. KCON Mexico will take place at the Mexico City Arena, located in the Azcapotzalco neighborhood, on March 17-18.
KCON 2017 Mexico will feature two full days of convention programming covering every aspect of Korean culture including K-beauty, Korean food, K-drama, Korean film and more. Also included in the schedule will be artist meet and greets where fans will be able to come face to face with their favorite performers. Each day will close with a star studded concert featuring the top artists from Korean pop music. Additional artist will be announced to the line-up in the weeks to come.
ASTRO is a six-member boy group that debuted on February 23, 2016 with their mini-album Spring Up. Prior to releasing their debut album HIDE & SEEK, the group first starred in their own web drama series To Be Continued in August 2015 as well as their own reality television show Astro OK! Ready in January 2016. Since then, their music video for HIDE & SEEK has gained over 4.2 million views and their official fanclub name has been revealed as AROHA, which stands for ASTRO Hearts All Fans.
