While fans may be sad that Girls' Generation will not be returning as a group for the rest of the year, the members will have many individual activities in different areas that will allow fans to see them pretty much everywhere.
First up is Hyoyeon, who will be having her solo debut on December 2nd with the SM Station release of 'Mystery'. This is a dance track that will showcase Hyoyeon's strength as a dancer. Tiffany will be featured in Far East Movement's upcoming single, which was announced earlier this month.
Maknae Seohyun is slated to have her own solo debut with an album in mid-January. This was to be released at the end of the year, but has been delayed until January because the timing wasn't right. Meanwhile, Taeyeon is expected to return with her first solo album after Seohyun in February.
Following the 'singer' line is the 'actress line'. Yoona, who recently starred in drama 'The K2' as Anna, will be returning to the small screen in 'The King Loves', which will air on MBC in early 2017. She will be starring in the movie 'Cooperation' that will be released in January 2017. Yuri has signed on to be the lead actress in SBS's upcoming lawyer drama, 'The Defendant', set to air in February 2017. Furthermore, Sooyoung has snagged the leadspot in medical drama "Polyclinic Doctor" that will revolve the lives of youth and will air sometime in early 2017. Last but not least, Sunny will be performing the second leg of her Japanese musical 'Cafe In' in February 2017 in Osaka.
It's a busy time for the members, but as the group's 10th anniversary is fast approaching, it appears that they want to shower fans with many appearances and much love.
