Mattel announced global licensing agreement with BTS

Jan 7(local time),well-known toy manufacturing company Mattel announced that they have signed a worldwide licensing agreement with BTS. Under the license, it is said that Mattel will launch a line of BTS fashion dolls in the coming summer, as well as collectible figures, games and more.

An official from Mattel said that ‘BTS is a pop-culture music phenomenon that transcends age, culture and language, and through this partnership, Mattel will offer a new way for millions across the world to engage with the band,". He continued, "Partnering with established franchises that have global appeal is a cornerstone of our strategy and given our creative expertise, we are perfectly suited to create products celebrating BTS."

Meanwhile, BTS will continue their ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ world tour starting from Jan 12.
