KCON NY announces Gfriend as next artist in lineup! > K-POP

Hey Buddies, rejoice! For KCON USA 2017 in New York has just announced the next artist in its lineup and it's none other than hot girl group Gfriend!

Gfriend recently made a comeback with 'Fingertip', which included a military-style concept and captured hearts of many fans, old and new. This comes on the heels of the previous artist line-up announcement from last week, which was revealed to be TWICE and CNBLUE. Both artists were invited to KCON USA 2016 in Los Angeles, though only TWICE was able to take the stage as CNBLUE had to unfortunately withdraw from the event. It's interesting to note that Gfriend also performed at KCON 2016 LA, continuing the trend of invited KCON LA artists from the previous year to join the current year's KCON NY.

KCON USA 2017 in New York will take place in the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, for the third year running and is scheduled from June 23 - 24, 2017. A popular convention that originated in Irvine, CA, back in 2012, KCON USA has expanded to Los Angeles, New York, France, Japan, and most recently, Mexico, which held its first event March 18 and 19.
