Hottest rookie group SEVENTEEN has recently completed their first Asia Pacific Tour with much success. The 13-member boy group from Pledis Entertainment embarked on their 'Shining Diamonds' Tour on 13 August with Singapore as their first stop. They performed a total of 9 shows across the region - in Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia and Hong Kong - and finally wrapped up their tour with a last stop in Taiwan on 11 September.
The tour took on a fanmeeting format with the group performing an impressive 12 songs on average despite having only 1 full-length studio album under their belt. Talk segments as well as various interactive games were incorporated making the fanmeetings approximately 2 hours long.
Out of the 9 stops during the tour, Seventeen especially caught the attention of the masses during their shows in Hong Kong and Taiwan where they sang in Chinese for their fans. Their Hong Kong Press Conference which was held in a shopping mall was flooded with media outlets and fans, pointing to the rookie group's evident popularity outside of Korea.
