Minzy arrived in Manila last friday September 7, 2018 at NAIA Terminal 1 a day prior to her guesting at the opening ceremony of UAAP season 81 to be held at Mall of Asia Arena. 4 years has passed since her visit last May 2014 from their 2NE1 concert AON All or Nothing in Manila, Philippines.
On September 8, 2018, fans started to queue in line early as 9:00AM 3 hours before start of the said event. Exactly 12 noon the UAAP opening ceremony begins with the performances from University representatives as well as introduction of each Teams joining this season. STEPHEN CURRY, was also present as he leads the oath of sportmanship. Following are performances from Filipino rock band SPONGECOLA and Filipino Artist JAMES REID.

Performing for finale is South Korean Artist, MINZY (former 2NE1 member). She started with "Ninano", her single and title track from her album, Minzy Work 01: "Uno". MINZY also performed some hit songs of 2NE1 like "Come back home (Unplugged Ver.)", "Can't Nobody" for intro before her last song "I am the Best".

During her UAAP performance she then announced that she will be having a surprise FanMeeting event happening in 3 hours right after the UAAP opening ceremony to be held at SM North Edsa. Upon knowing, fans we're in hurry to travel to the said venue as MINZY will be making a Meet & Greet event with Photo Opportunity exclusive only for the first 150 Fans qualifying the said event.
MINZY performed "Super woman" another single from her solo album, she had some introduction and talk with Filipino fans and spent the rest of time for the Meet & Greet and Photo op.
This all happened in such a short time just in a day but Filipino POS (Minzy Fans) as well as BlackJack (2NE1 Fans) was surely very happy to meet MINZY again and this time closer and in a very special way.
