GOT7's BamBam exempt from Thai military > K-POP

A sigh of relief could be heard from ​Ahgases​, and on a large scale, KPOP fans, as ​JYP​ officially confirmed that ​GOT7​'s Thai member ​BamBam​ would be exempt from serving in the Thai military.

Every April, the Thai military holds a lottery for all eligible males for military enlistment. However, one must pass the health examination even before being considered for the lottery draw. During the draw, the men will draw either a red card or a black card. If the red card is drawn, the men will have to serve two years of military service. If a black card is drawn, the men are exempt from service. In addition, if enough men volunteer to serve, then the rest of the men from that region are exempt.

It was a nerve-wracking day for fans alike and many KPOP fans were praying for a black card for BamBam. However, enough people from his region volunteered, allowing the idol to be exempt.
