[KCON] KCON 2018 NY announces next group of artists - NCT 127 and Stray Kids > K-POP

KCON USA​ is proud to announce the latest artist additions to ​KCON 18 NY​: ​NCT127​ and ​Stray Kids​! These two boy groups will be joining previously announced artists ​WANNA ONE​, ​EXID​, and ​Heize​.

​NCT 127​ first made an appearance at the ​KCON 17 LA​ last year, performing hits such as '​Firetruck​' and '​Cherry Bomb​'. The experimental group, with 18 members comprising of the whole ​NCT​, recently came back with their first album '​Empathy​' as 18 members and NCT 127 promoted their 180-degree switch, cheerful song '​Touch​'. Unfortunately, New York will not be able to see all 18 members, but hey, at least there will be 9 members to follow and cheer for.

 

​The next artist is newly debuted boy group from ​JYP​, ​Stray Kids​. The brother group of ​TWICE​, this 9-member group also went through a pre-debut survival show that allowed the public and fans to know more about the potential members before the official debut. The group debuted with '​District 9​' and their debut MV broke the record for the most number of views in 24 hours for a debut MV. Not too shabby! The 9 members will be making their first appearance not only at ​KCON​, but to the USA as well.

In additional news, concert tickets will go on sale on ​May 11th​ at ​3PM EDT​, with convention center tickets going on sale on ​May 14th​ at ​3PM EDT​.
