[KCON] Red Velvet and Pentagon will be performing at KCON 18 NY! > K-POP

The last artist announcements have been made for ​KCON 18 NY​ and they are none other than ​Red Velvet​ and ​Pentagon​!

​Red Velvet​ has risen to be one of the top girl groups of their generation, producing hits after another. Following ​Rookie​, they released what arguably was one of the summer bops of 2017, '​Red Flavor​'. They then turned to their Velvet side at the end of 2017 with '​Peek-a-Boo​' and '​Bad Boy​'. The 5-member group made headlines by performing in North Korea just recently and they held their first US Fanmeet in Chicago this past weekend. This will be their third KCON appearance, having appeared at ​KCON LA 2015​ and ​KCON Mexico 2017​. 

​Pentagon​ is the newest boy group from ​CUBE Entertainment​ and has gotten much love from fans, in part to members ​Hui​ and ​E-Dawn​ participating in creating a song for ​Produce 101 Season 2​ and ​Wanna One​'s debut song '​Energetic​'. Comprised of 10 members, they were first made known to the public through their survival show '​Pentagon Maker​'. Their recent song '​Shine​' became their first ever song to chart in the ​Melon 100​ chart and as a result, the Korean public has become paying more attention to them. 

As previously announced, tickets for KCON 18 NY will be released on ​May 11​ at 3PM EDT for concert tickets and ​May 14​ at 3PM EDT for convention tickets.
