After a successful first day of K-pop activities and M! Countdown concert, KCON 2016 NY Presented by Toyota held its second day of fun on June 25th, 2016 in Newark, New Jersey.

As we recounted for fans six surprises that we saw on Day One, the second day of Korean acts was also undoubtedly a spectacular one. Performers included BTS, DAY6, Eric Nam, and MAMAMOO. And although Ailee was supposedly scheduled in the first day's lineup, she surprised fans as she was also the MC and performer for the second day!

We witnessed families having a great time together; young-hearted dads cheering for MAMAMOO and their children shouting their lungs out for BTS. Fans came from all parts of the United States and even some from Canada, who all showed their readiness for KCON next year.

In particular, Eric Nam gave his honest confession that he was afraid of not providing dazzling performances like the younger K-pop groups, but his worries were completely unfounded. Even without backup dancers, the solo singer was able to touch the audience's hearts with his ballads. Going with his unique concept of slower, non-dance tracks, he managed to get everyone sing along to his new English song "Into You".

During the concert, a VCR with Eric Nam and Ailee was also showed on screen. The two had filmed a video of sweet interactions as they toured New York in a Toyota-sponsored car. The two performed a special stage of "Some", originally sang by Soyu and Jung Gigo, which ended with an awkward-but-still-cute hug initiated by Ailee. But their awkwardness shortly ended as they excitedly danced and sang to Rihanna's "Work". As Korean-Americans striving hard in the K-pop industry, Ailee and Eric Nam also expressed their wishes to bring more regular K-pop acts to North America.

MAMAMOO performed a total of five of their songs, namely: "You're The Best", "Mr. Ambiguous", "Taller Than You", "Piano Man", and "Um Oh Ah Yeah". The girl group then reappeared on stage with DAY6 for a special collaboration stage covering Wonder Girls' classic dance track "Nobody".

Live band DAY6 not only performed their own songs "Letting Go", "Congratulations" and "Freely", they also covered a remix version of CNBLUE's "I'm a Loner" and Big Bang's "Lies".

Last but not least, BTS hit the roof as the finale performers with "Fire", "Save Me", "Boyz with fun", "Cyper Pt.3: Killer", and "Dope".
