One Korea Concert Brings One Night of Global Peace In Manila > K-POP

Philippines was the first stop of the 2017 Global Peace Concert, a unification-themed concert aiming to seek global support upheld by KPOP stars. Attracting thousands of kpop fans on a Thursday night, March 2 at SM Mall of Asia Arena, Hallyu wave once again quenched the thirst of kpop fans as BAP, B1A4, AOA, BTOB, CNBlue, Shinee, and PSY performed their hit songs on stage proving the success of the global concert.

During the event, Korean and Philippine pop culture​ were simultaneously reminisced through variety of special stages such as Korean idols singing the original soundtracks of the top 3 Preferred Korean series of Filipinos as well as the collaboration of a premier actor and two idols for Freddie Aguilar’s hit song, “Anak.” Audio video presentations were also shown in intervals enlightening the audience of the relationship formed by Philippines and Korea during the Korean war.

On the other hand, showcasing their hosting skills, AOA’s Seolhyun and Shinee’s Mino led the event making it more exciting for the fans as the two flawlessly switched from being performers to concert’s hosts after their group’s own production numbers.

Indeed, Shawols, Elvis, Babies, BANAs, Boices, Melodies and Psy Fans were ecstatic with the grand organization of the star studded concert. Meanwhile, Global Peace Concert in Manila is brought by KBS Media and One K Global Campaign Organizing committee, in partnership with All Access Productions. Global Concert will then proceed to United States, China, Japan and other nations.
