WEKI MEKI successfully wrapped up 1st single ‘KISS, KICKS’ showcase > K-POP

On Oct 11, WEKI MEKI released their first single ‘KISS, KICKS’ and hold a comeback showcase.

With their last mini album ’Lucky’ released on last February, members are all excited with this comeback. Lua revealed that she was nervous with new images shown in this album. Lucy said that they hope to show the audience for an upgraded WEKI MEKI through this album.

Talking about title song ‘Crush’, member Yoojung who has participated in rap making revealed that the whole process in writing rap lyrics was fun and she did not face much difficulties compare with previous album. Doyeon expressed her thankfulness to Yoojung saying that her lyrics added more killing parts to the song.

Regarding the choreography, Yoojung said that comparing to last 2 albums which included choreography on the floor, this time they adjusted the choreography for the song so that more people will follow the steps more easily.

At last, talking about the goal of this album, leader Suyeon said they hope that their songs can be heard more on the street and more people will sing it in karaoke, and most importantly all members can finish activities for this album healthily.

Meanwhile, WEKI MEKI are said to start their promotional activities with new single ‘KISS, KICKS’​.
