JBJ95 is back with new album ‘AWAKE’ > K-POP

Mar 26, JBJ95 (Kenta, Sanggyun) released their 2nd mini album ‘AWAKE’ and hold a showcase.

‘AWAKE’ contains a total number of 6 songs. Title song ‘AWAKE’ is a pop dance song based on deep house and tropical house music, expressing the feeling of starting a romance when spring is coming after freezing winter is gone.

JBJ95 started the showcase with the performance of title song ‘AWAKE’. After the performance, JBJ95 introduced their new album as well as sharing their feelings towards comeback.

Sanggyun

Sanggyun who has recently joined the same company as Kenta, saying that he was now able to start activities in a more stable way (after changing to the same company)

Tallking about title song ‘AWAKE’, Sanggyun said though ‘AWAKE’ is similar to ‘Flower’ during JBJ activities, ‘AWAKE’ is more like a spring song. Kenta added that while comparing with ‘Home’ in last activity which expressed our thankful to fans who called us back, this time in ‘AWAKE’ they would like to show more on the character of JBJ95 though this album.

Besides, ‘AWAKE’ included a song calls ‘Milky Way’ which has invited Haelim from Wonder Girls for lyrics composition, Kenta has expressed his thankful towards Haelim, and at the same time teasing fans for hearing Sanggyun’s voice in the song.

About the ceremony that they will perform if they get 1st position in music programs, Kenta said he will have barbeque on the stage together with Sanggyun to express thankful towards their fans. Showcase ended with JBJ95 performing subtitle song ‘Like’.

Meanwhile, JBJ95 2nd mini album ‘AWAKE’ has been released through online music sites.
