Song Joong Ki was reported to fire for divorce with Song Hye Kyo on Jun 26. Following the breaking of the divorce news, rumors about Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum having an affair were spread on online communities.

Jun 27, Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum’s agency Blossom Entertainment released official statement, stated that ‘We are writing to inform you that we have begun legal action towards malicious slander and circulation of false rumors, as well as defamation of character about our artists.’

They continued, ‘Malicious slander and circulation of false rumors of our artists both on and offline, and on mobile is a criminal act. Obviously this brings harm to our artists, their families, agency and fans.

Regarding the following actions towards the rumors, the agency stated that ‘We are planning to take legal action against defamation of our artist in the past as well as the future. We would also like to inform you that we will take strong action without any negotiation in similar cases which cause harm against our artists.’
