Despite the pandemic condition, Korea continues to develop new attractions to attract foreign tourists until it is ready to reopen borders to international travel. Here we suggest 5 new attractions that are worth visiting after the pandemic. 

 

1. Pohang Space Walk

Pohang Space Walk is the country’s largest walkable art installation located in Hwanho Park, Pohang. The art installation is designed by German artists Heiki Mutter and Ulrich Genth which resembles a rollercoaster, and can accommodate 250 people at the same time. 

 

2. Busan Beach Train

The Beach Train that runs from Mipo Station to Songjeong Station offers a great view of East Busan's beautiful scenery.

3. Dongducheon Nijimori Studio

Nijimori Studio in Dongducheon is theme park with a set of buildings that allows visitors to feel Japanese vibe in Edo period. The theme park had been used as a filming site for several local TV dramas and variety shows like 'The Penthouse: War in Life'.

4. Geoje Jungle Dome

Geoje Jungle Dome, or Geoje Botanical Garden, is the country's biggest domed tropical greenhouse. The dome is made of 7,500 triangular glass panels, and is divided into several areas according to different themes. 

5. Jaecheon Oksunbong suspension bridge

The 'Jaecheon Oksunbong Suspension Bridge' which locates at Jaecheon, North Chungcheong Province, crosses the Cheongpungho Lake and connects the scenic spot Oksunbong Peak.
