The 9th Hanyangdoseong Culture Festival - Sungseong : Embracing the Wishes > SPECIAL

The Hanyangdoseong is a cultural heritage that symbolizes over 600 years of Seoul's history, taking it far beyond the surface meaning of simply being that of a city wall. As a harmonious gathering of history, life, and nature, the Hanyangdoseong features a long-standing fusion between nature and manmade structure that respects nature as is, naturally melding into the undulations of the earth. Despite some of the wall being reacquired by nature herself, the wall now stands as a symbol of culture and artistry. 

This festival heads into it's ninth year of celebration with the purpose of creating a global tie of understanding in order to share the historical value and significance of the wall based in its cultural heritage. It is scheduled to take place online from October 1-10.
