Military musical ‘Shinheung Military Academy’ casting confirmed > SPECIAL

Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Nuel and INFINITE Sung Gyu are casted in military musical.

According to the media, Ji Chang Wook, Kang Ha Nuel and INFINITE Sung Gyu who are now under their military services joined as one of the cast for upcoming musical ‘Shinheung Military Academy’.

The story of ‘Shinheung Military Academy’ happened under the time when Korea was occupied by Japan. Ji Chang Wook will play the role as the son of anti-Japanese Confucian scholar who committed suicide and an excellent student at the Academy called Dong Gyu. Kang Ha Neul will play the role as Pal Do who is an orphan and become an outstanding freedom fighter at the academy. INFINITE Sung Gyu will play as Ji Cheong Cheon who is a real historical figure. Ji Cheong Cheon graduated from the Imperial Japanese Army Academy and became the commander-in-chief of the Korean Liberation Army.

The musical will premiere on Sep 9 and run until 23 at Theater Yong, National Museum of Korea. It is scheduled to go on a national tour at the end of this year. Ticketing details will be released later.
